Privacy Policy

Peak Stable Flow · Last updated August 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Peak Stable Flow ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

When you use the Service, we may collect:

  • Account information — your name, email address, phone number, and barn affiliation, provided when you accept a barn invitation or register.
  • Profile details — rider or trainer profile data, horse ownership and lease records, and any horse information (name, breed, age, type) you choose to add.
  • Scheduling & activity data — lesson sign-ups, show entries, availability, and performance journal entries you create or that your trainer assigns to you.
  • Communications — messages exchanged between you, your trainer, and barn staff within the app, including any attachments you upload.
  • Documents — files (such as show schedules or barn paperwork) uploaded by your barn and shared with you.
  • Device & usage data — push notification tokens, basic device identifiers, and logs of how you interact with the Service, used to deliver notifications and improve reliability.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account and barn membership.
  • To display your lessons, shows, horses, documents, and messages, and to coordinate scheduling with your trainer.
  • To send you push notifications and in-app alerts about lessons, shows, bulletins, and messages.
  • To allow barn administrators to manage riders, horses, trainers, and barn operations relevant to you.
  • To provide customer support and resolve issues.
  • To maintain the security, stability, and performance of the Service.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as follows:

  • Within your barn — your trainer and authorized barn administrators can view information necessary to manage your riding schedule, horse, and barn participation.
  • Service providers — we use trusted third-party providers for hosting, data storage, authentication, email delivery, and push notifications. These providers process data only as needed to operate the Service and under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal requirements — we may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others.

4. Children & Parents

The Service is used by equestrian barns whose members may include minors. When a minor participates, a parent or guardian is invited and linked to the rider's account so they can view the rider's schedule and receive notifications. Parents provide consent when accepting the invitation on behalf of the rider. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child's information has been collected without consent, please contact us using the details below.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you leave your barn or request account deletion, we will remove or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal or operational requirements.
  • Opt out of push notifications at any time via your device settings.

To exercise any of these rights, contact your barn administrator or reach us using the contact details below.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to external websites (such as show websites, hotels, or pro-shop retailers). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
